At Bells Accountants, we believe in using our resources and expertise not just to serve our clients but to make a positive impact on the local community. Each year, the team at Bells volunteer, donate and participate in various Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
CSR is not just a box to be ticked, but a genuine commitment to using our resources and expertise to make a tangible, positive impact on the lives of those around us.
Charity Support
- The Chartwell Charities: We are proud to be long-term supporters of The Chartwell Charities contributing both time and resources to advance their crucial mission. Our annual quiz night has raised nearly £7,000 to support cancer patients and their families including an AV1 robot, Annabell, helping a child to learn in school remotely when they are too unwell to attend in person. Our support extends throughout the year with Easter egg donations and engagement through Pure B2B Mastermind meetings.
- Demelza Children’s Hospice: Our team sponsored and took part in the Demelza Charity Bubble Run, a fun fundraising event that brings the community together. We are delighted to lend our sponsorship to this local vital cause.
- Children’s Hospital Pyjamas: We participate in the Children’s Hospital Pyjamas Appeal, collecting pyjamas to gift to babies through to teenagers during their hospital stays.
Education & Youth Development
Money & You! Financial Education Series: We’ve authored a series of educational books called “Money & You!” to help young people develop essential financial literacy skills. These books have been gifted to local schools and youth charitable foundations, promoting crucial life skills that can be easily overlooked.
Understanding the transformative power of reading, especially in underserved communities, our team collects donations to build school libraries. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering education and creating opportunities for young minds to flourish.
Community Engagement
Business Community Support: We take an active role in strengthening our local business community, serving as table talk leaders and volunteers at the Beckenham Business Association Business Day. This involvement helps build vital connections and support networks for local business owners.
Sports Sponsorship We proudly sponsor Orpington FC under 7s, supporting youth development through sports and community activities.
Animal Welfare Our team volunteers at Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre in Biggin Hill, contributing hands-on support through activities like deep-cleaning animal shelters.
